The hotel "Khiva Madrassah" is conveniently located in the very center of Khiva amidst the architectural splendours of the city's historical core - Ichan-Kala.
In 2000 a charming madrassah of Mukhamed Aminkhan (1851-1855) was converted into a traditional hotel and its once medieval cells were enhanced with modern facilities to provide a comfortable and relaxed stay.
Each of its 40 rooms (30 twin-bedded and 10 single rooms) is full of character.
The hotel facilities also include a restaurant for 100 seats, which is similarly set in the historical environment - Matniyaz Divanbegi madrassah. The hotel is ideal base for exploring the attractions of ancient Khiva.
